The enigmatic Ethan Breakaway delivers his new EP

After bringing us the sunshine with his previous featuring charting single ‘UR X’ (Canada Viral 50) with Canadian producers Mark & Sylvester, Ethan is now letting the day distort to dusk with his self-produced brand new mystic EP ‘SOME STORIES ARE TRUE THAT NEVER HAPPENED’. He gives us 12 minutes of melancholic sonics broken into 4 songs. Each song is lead by story and depicts his world in London, Love & Life. From the outset ‘Don’t Need Him’ gives us sombre feels which soon turns to color with his sweetly arranged falsetto that lifts the track to an anticipated place. The production is eerie and ends in a compelling minimalistic choir like a crescendo that chants “I wanna reverse it, I wanna get back with you so bad don’t need him no more” which details the song's concept of wishing to be back with the one he let go.‘Japanese Denim’ & ‘Resume’ directly follow and give us that slow-jam R&B feel. Heavily driven by the groove and his tantalizing vocals. The EP ends with ‘River’, a dark melancholic song where Ethan delves deeper into his life in London.
