HR Studios is proud to announce the addition of three new producers in our studios! Alexandre Boyer-Drouin
When he was young, Alexandre became quickly passionate about music. As a teenager, he decides to involve more into his passion by joining the local band Forever The Light, from which he acquired experience both on stage and in studio. His rising interest for singing and guitars brings him to enroll in the music program of Ste-Foy College, where he learns the basics of audio mastering. He then decides to go further, records his own musical projects and starts producing for other artists as well.
The technical skills and creativity of Alexandre will certainly help artists who wish to obtain a distinctive sound.
Jean-Philippe Lessard
Newly graduated from Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy in sound design and recording, Jean-Philippe has always been passionate about music, especially in regards to composition and production. Very versatile, he worked on various projects ranging from pop to folk, through punk rock and even hardcore and metal projects.
As a musician with particular ease for guitar and singing, creativity and originality have always allowed him to make ideas flourish and to come up with great results, exceeding expectations every time. Now producer and sound engineer for Higher Reign Studios, his 10 year strong musical background and his ability to understand others’ visions will help you fulfill your greatest projects.
Dave Boisvert
Dave is passionate about music and audio technology since ever. When he was a child, he taught himself piano, guitar and drums. For him, logic and mathematics around music have no secrets. He also experienced recording with modest means available at the time. It was towards the end of adolescence, while completing his diploma in electronics, that he discovered audio recording using software and spent hours reading on the subject, experimenting, which led him to complete an ACS in sound design and recording.
During his career, Dave has developed a preference for the recording studio, producing records for several local bands. One of his major strengths, apart from having a great technical background, is to get the best out of artists and clients, either by reworking the structures and lyrics, or by creating great vocal harmonies, catchy melodies, etc. For him, the producer is to the artist what the coach is to the athlete.
