The Quebec based alternative rock band Muted Screams has signed a publishing contract and distribution agreement with the label Higher Reign Music Group. Their debut album, What Are You Made Of? released last December will soon be available in stores everywhere this summer in collaboration with DEP / Universal Music Canada. A second single from the album, Deadwood will be launched very soon on radios. Muted Screams was born in the summer of 2007 in the town of Ste-Marie. Already very young, the quartet is distinguished by its singer / guitarist Mélanie Gagné with her amazing energy and powerful voice.

After a long series of shows across Canada, Muted Screams won the 2nd Skin Rock Contest by Budweiser in 2010 in Quebec City. Following this victory, the band recruited the experienced drummer, Lp La Roche (Mad spiral, The Andrew's), known for its heavy hitting and his unusual personality, which brought added strength to the group's image.

After two years of hard work, the band decided to release independently their first album What are you made of?  mastered by Ryan Morey's unique sound (Arcade Fire, Simple Plan). On the LP, guitarist Charles-Alexandre Beaudoin played a very important role as co-producer alongside Jerome Larochelle. With an incomparable energy molded heavy alternative rock, Muted Screams will surprise you.
