DJ 4rain making waves with “Whatever”

French-based DJ and producer DJ 4Rain drops his new solo single “Whatever” ft. Sasha Ogletree. With millions of views with only 3 releases to date, 4Rain is quickly gaining momentum. The single is already getting good stats in less than a month with more than 280 000 views on Youtube, 200 000 Shazam and more than 100 000 streams. 4rain also charted in France on Shazam for the first three weeks of release in the top 10. An official video is coming later this month.

Born in Cannes, on April 29, 1991, Dj 4Rain, whose real name is Stephan Tavares, is a DJ, remixer and producer of French Hip-Hop and electronic music. At the age of 16, he began working in the most influential clubs on the French Riviera. Nearly 3 years later, the young DJ exports his talent to Great Britain and Canada where he studied and graduated from the famous MUSITECHNIC.

In 2015, he spends a few months in Miami, Florida with JLV. This experience will make him see a different side of the industry, and improve his skills as a producer. Convinced of DJ 4Rain’s talent, JLV makes his connections work and bring them together for an internship at David Camp studio. There, he meets Tory Lanez’s sound engineer: Low-ki. to whom he will share is latest production with.

Surprised by the quality of his work, Low-ki asked 4rain to collaborate and be part of his team. Their collaboration started on Meek Mill’s album – “Dreams Worth More Than Money”, which was #1 on the US Billboard charts, and ended up platinum.

In 2017, they are mentioned at the Grammy Awards for their participation in Tory Lanez’s single “LUV”, recorded at David Camp Studio. The young producer then decided to launch and released a first single “Game”, a duet with Nyso who made a hit on the Internet, gathering a large number of streams! The title released at Uknow Music (independent label) ended up #73 in the French charts and ranked 40th on top Shazam France and Belgium in February 2018. In the meantime, 4Rain witnessed the making of “Memories Do not Die” the last album of Tory Lanez.
